The Malt Shop had a quirky interior that was fun to look at, and we were quickly seated in a smallish dining room.
The Reuben sandwich had great corned beef and dressing The sauerkraut and dressing blended well and didn't overpower the sandwich but instead made a nicely blended whole. The dark rye was very tasty, too.
The Malt Shop was able to deliver a very moist sandwich without it becoming soggy. The onion rings were very good. I also had the lemonade which definitely tasted homemade—so I had to order two.
Of course, we ordered malts (billed as being made with real malt powder). The malts were HUGE.
