We ordered our Reubens, and they came out pretty quickly, after only about 7 minutes. Perhaps with the restaurant somewhat empty, we benefited from quicker food preparation. I'm sure that before or after a big game nearby that they would take a little longer.
The first thing that I noticed about the Reuben was that it tasted great! The sandwich had slices of corned beef folded over and a huge amount of sauerkraut. The way that the beef and kraut was put into the sandwich was somewhat uneven which resulted in things slipping around and the beef trying to shoot its way out of the sandwich a few times.
The corned beef was really delicious, and so was the heaping sauerkraut. It was nice to actually see both slices of cheese and taste them with the dressing that lined each end of the sandwich. The bread was distinctively soft. I don't know whether maybe it wasn't grilled for very long, or whether they use a different consistency of bread. But anyway, if you've had an Arby's Reuben, the bread on this sandwich tasted just like the bread at Arby's--and I thought it served very well and blended with the rest of the sandwich.
Overall the sandwich tastes balanced out very nicely and I think this is definitely a Reuben to come back for.
