I am 11 years, 9 months, 26 days old!

Do I look different to you? That's because I have glasses now! It's so great to be able to see far away...or even across the room. The world looks so different now!

I'm in the third grade this year. I'm in a special advanced program at a different school. I ride the bus in the morning with my brother, and then I take another bus to my new school. It has been an adventure this year. The work is a lot harder, but we get to do a lot more fun things, too. I love my teacher. She looks a lot like the teacher I had last year, and she's just as nice!

I really enjoy drawing, especially books, comic strips, and my own trading/battle card game, Power Patch. I really like to make up new creatures for the card game. I also like playing lots of different board games. Now I'm old enough that I get to play with the grown-ups sometimes: I've played "Love Thy Neighbor," "A to Z," "In a Pickle," and a couple of others. Sometimes it's hard to keep up, but I like sitting with the adults.

I love to read. My favorite series right now is "Geronimo Stilton," but I'll read almost anything. I like to learn more about spies, detectives, pirates, and King Arthur, among others. There is so much to read about! My mom works in a library, so she brings home new things for me to try. And my class at school reads a lot, too--we even have times during the day where we "Drop Everything and Read"!
